Senior Pastor Jim Grant

Bro. Jim came to Heartland as Senior Pastor, September 2011. Before pastoring in Illinois, he pastored three churches in Texas. He has a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Engineering from Wayland Baptist University; a Master’s of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has nearly completed his Doctorate of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Bro. Jim is married and has two grown daughters, Sarah and Laura. Bro. Jim and his wife Kathy have been married over 35 years. He comes from Missouri, where he spent most of his youth before enlisting in the Air Force. He spent nearly 25 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1997.

Before surrendering to full time ministry, he served as an ordained deacon, Minister of Missions, Associational Brotherhood Director, Lay Renewal Strategist and bible teacher in several churches while in the military.

Pastor Isaac Hallock, Worship Ministries

Isaac joined our pastoral staff team in March 2008. He received his Bachelor of Music inChurch Music from Southwest Baptist Univiersity in Bolivar, Missouri in 2000, and is close to finishing a MMCM from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His passion is for worship and music. Isaac has served as Worship Pastor in churches throughout Illinois, Missouri, Louisiana, and Florida. Isaac is married to the love of his life, Lynette and
together they have three beautiful children; Abbi, Eli, and Lily Grace.

Isaac currently sings with the Singing Churchmen of Illinois and serves as their Treasurer. While serving the Lord through the worship arts, Isaac has also had many opportunities to participate in community musicals and operas. Isaac enjoys spending free time with his family and friends and striving to become more like Christ. His favorite Scripture verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Isaac's wife, Lynette, serves in many areas of the church including children's choirs, worship administration and women's ministries. As the director of Women's Ministries, Lynette has devoted much of her time to teaching and leading the ladies of Heartland into a deeper, committed walk with the Lord.

Pastor Tim Weihrauch, Student Ministries

Tim joined our staff in September, 2007. He received a B.S. in Youth Ministry from Faith Baptist Bible College in 2003. Tim was ordained on September 21, 2008 here at Heartland. Tim has been involved in local church youth ministries since 1998. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

Tim has a passion to disciple all generations. He strives to teach God’s Word in an applicable way that 3 and 4 generations may be affected by God’s Word. His favorite verse is 2 Timothy 2:2:

“The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (NASB)

Tim and his wife, Rachel, have been married for almost 7 years and have one spunky 2 year old named Amalie and another beautiful baby girl, Ayla, on the way. Tim loves to spend time with his family and dog, Maddie.
